I am going to be going to the dentist for a professional teeth cleaning. I would like to have a mold of my teeth taken for a whitening kit. How does this whitening kit work? Do I just squirt the bleach in there?

I want to finally get my teeth whitened since I’ve had them stained for quite a while. I don’t want to spend more than $600 and I was wondering if take home kits that dentists give are any good and last any? Is it hard to do it yourself?
If I do it in office, which procedures are recommended (like zoom or whatever). I want one that gets me the whitest and lasts a long time, while still falling in my budget.

i just got this pack of tooth whitening powder. .
The brand is Eucryl (UK) and it says to use it only 1-2 times a week.
So how long would it usually take to get rid of stains (mainly smoking) and whiten teeth?
