@Sandstef90 That doesn’t always work, I always use a base coat and they still turned a bit yellow.

I have the same base coat problem, i paint my nails all the time and one thing that has always worked for me is replacing base with hardener, it is guaranteed not to peel, is great for your nails, and it keeps the color from getting to your nails, i use it every time and i swear since i switched to hardener my polish lasts longer.

Buff the top of the nail lightly with a buffer to remove ridges and discoloration too.

Try a denture cleaning tablet too this will remove stains also.

I would use whitening toothpaste, scrub under the nails with it and on top with a toothbrush, then apply vitamin E oil or olive oil onto nails and cuticle or your favourite nail cream!

Always hydrate the? nails, and use nail polish remover only twice a month because of chemicals.

You can soak your nails in olive oil for 15 mins a week , I use it on mine and? my natural nails are super long and strong.

that used to happen with my base coat! I just let it dry for a really long time before applying polish and that seems to help. :)

  14. doriosity says:

you can use those denture bleaching tablets as well

do you have a tutorial on you hair in this video? If not can you make one because your hair is awesome and I would love to learn this hairstyle.. It looks easy enough but you never know lol

  16. tatsudoshi65 says:

I think the fact that buffing removes the top layer of nail is the main reason your nails became white. I don’t think the product really helped much at all. I know that when my nails start looking yellow-ish (they’ve never been bad) that I will use a buffer and they look amazingly bright and clean… and I never use any whitening products on mine.

    But good review, very honest.

will you show us hoe you do you hair???

  21. Honeysuckle771 says:

i totally agree with you on the whole base coat thing
i have the same problem too

  22. JLCammack says:

I agree with the base coat. Everything I have tried causes my polish to peel off in one piece.

I put a little white vinegar in a shallow dish and soak my nails in that for a few minutes (each hand/not timed. I just kinda watch TV or something while they soak) and I find that removes the stains I have from polish. I also use it for my toes. It stinks but it works, for me. =)

  23. froggylily97 says:

maybe after using the whitening paste stick your fingers in a lemon cause it lightens your nails also and maybe that will help and then you can do some buffing with your nail buffer ! :)
im just saying maybe the lemon will help a bit

Thanks for this! I have staining on my toe nails because I ALWAYS have polish on them. it’s kinda embarrassing when I go to get a pedi! I have only gone twice because of it! I AM GOING BACK TO SALLY’S TOMORROW! :) Thanks again girl!
